Hopi Ear Candles

Ear candles have been used by many cultures as an effective natural therapy since ancient times, and have become increasingly popular in the last 15 years. The ear candles are still made today on the basis of an old original recipe from the Native American Hopi Indians, together with modern high quality and safety standards.

The ear candles are made from only natural ingredients using pure beeswax, honey extracts and traditional herbs such as sage, St John’s wort, camomile and pure essential oils.

Unlike ordinary candles, ear candles are hollow with a filter at one end. The candle is lit and placed just inside the outer ear, and a pleasant crackling and hissing can be heard as the candle burns down. The heat and flame generates a massage-like effect on the eardrum, and a gentle suction action draws out any impurities into the candle.

The candles induce a pleasant feeling of warmth and relaxation, balancing the pressure in the ears and sinuses. The treatment may help some ear, nose and throat conditions.
